Sports

Core Sports

Personal health and fitness is important for any person and this is no different in the Air Training Corps. It allows us to function properly as human beings but can also be very rewarding and fun. It is also essential within the Air Training Corps as it helps build teamwork and communication.

Air Cadets can participate sports at their local squadron but also compete against cadets of a similar age on other squadrons at County, Region and National levels. The are seven official sports within our organisation but many squadrons take part in others too:

  • Football
  • Netball
  • Hockey
  • Rugby Union
  • Swimming
  • Cross Country
  • Athletics (Track and Field)
