Role of the Civilian Committee
The role of the Civilian Committee is to support the squadron in any way it can to increase the effectiveness of the unit and assist with meeting the aims of the Air Training Corps. This includes raising funds for new equipment and activities, getting involved within the local community and providing assistance with welfare issues that might arise among the cadets and staff.
Committee members may be parents of serving or previous cadets, ex-HM Services, a member of the local Royal Air Force Association branch committee, a member of the local Air Crew Association, a representative of the Local Authority, Education, Emergency Services or any of the other organisations concerned with youth and citizenship training.
